Dr. McLaughlin

Dr. Bryan McLaughlin grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he studied Biology, Physiology, and Neuroscience. He attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health for dental school, earning a Masters of Public Health along with his dental degree.
After graduation he was commissioned as an Army officer and spent three years training in the Army’s post-graduate prosthodontic residency in Augusta, Georgia.
His first duty assignment after residency was Chief of Prosthodontics at Fort Bliss, Texas, where he provided specialty prosthodontic treatment to a soldier population of 29,000, as well as providing prosthodontic mentorship and support for the Army’s Oral Surgery residency. While at Fort Bliss he was able to complete the requirements for board certification, becoming a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics and Diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics. In 2019 he received an Honorable Discharge from the Army after completing his service obligation.
Dr. McLaughlin has produced award-winning research in the area of Digital Dentures, and has lectured across the country on this topic. He has published articles in the top scientific journals in the field of prosthodontics, and continually strives to stay on top of the latest research so he can provide the best treatment possible to his patients.
Dr. McLaughlin is a member of numerous dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, American Association of Fixed Prosthodontics, and Academy of Osseointegration among others.
Dr. McLaughlin is married with four children who keep him very busy. He enjoys being outdoors, running, swimming, hiking, and playing with his kids.
Dr. Miller

Dr. Nick Miller was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. He attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he earned an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Deciding to follow his passion for dentistry, he then attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University, earning his degree in dental medicine. Upon his dental school graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. The complexity of cases and the critical thinking involved with prosthodontics intrigued Dr. Miller. He then went on to complete his prosthodontics residency and Master’s degree at Fort Gordon.
His first duty assignment post-graduation was Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he served as Chief of Prosthodontics and mentored residents. While at Fort Carson, he achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Prosthodontics and became a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He was Honorably Discharged from the Army in 2021 after completing his commitment and has been in private practice.
Dr. Miller is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, American College of Prosthodontists, and American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. He keeps up with the latest advances in prosthodontics and implant dentistry.
Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, his daughters, Abigail and Tabitha, and his son, Nathaniel. When he is not practicing dentistry, he also enjoys hiking, cycling, and golfing.
Dr. Patel

Dr. Nisha Patel grew up in Roswell, Georgia and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia in Athens. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania where she completed her dental degree.
She served 10 years as a dental officer in the Army before medically retiring as a Major. Her first duty assignment was at Fort Carson, Colorado where she completed a 12-month general dentistry residency. She then continued to Augusta, GA where she completed her specialty training at the Army’s post graduate training program for prosthodontics. While obtaining her Masters in Oral Biology, her research earned the Bernier award and was recognized by the Army Dental Corps.
Dr. Patel continued with her studies and became a Diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontics. She was stationed in Landstuhl Germany and finished her military career acting as the Chief of Prosthodontics at one of the Army’s largest installations, Ft. Liberty, NC.
Dr. Patel has a passion for digital dentistry and exploring what technological advancements can do for the field of dentistry.
Dr. Patel and her husband, Dr. Peterman, enjoy spending time with their daughter Simryn and poodle mix dog Mila. She also enjoys crafts, cooking, and travel.
Dr. Peterman

Dr. Stephen Peterman grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska. He then attended the Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry where he completed his dental degree.
Following dental school, Dr. Peterman spent 15 years in the Army as an active-duty dental officer. He completed a 12-month residency in general dentistry followed by a 3-year residency program for the specialty of prosthodontics in Augusta, GA.
Dr. Peterman served as a brigade dentist and was deployed with the 173rd Airborne Brigade to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. In addition, he had multiple overseas assignments being stationed in Germany twice and in Hawaii.
After obtaining his diplomat status from the American Board of Prosthodontics, he has spent multiple duty assignments teaching others the specialty of prosthodontics. In Hawaii, he served as the prosthodontic mentor for the Oral Surgery program at Tripler Army Medical Center. He finished his active-duty military career as a Lieutenant Colonel at Fort Liberty, NC where he spent 4 years teaching at the 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program.
Dr. Peterman and his wife, Dr. Patel, enjoy spending time with their daughter Simryn. He also enjoys travel, classic cars, movies and being outdoors.
